The conscientisation  is a popular education and social concept developed by Brazilian Pedagogue and educational theorist Paulo Friere grounded in post Marxist critical theory .Conscientisation focuses on achieving an in depth understanding of the world allowing for the perception  and exposure of social and political contradictions.It also includes taking actions  against the oppressive elements in one’s life that are illuminated bythat understanding.The  definition given byPaulo Friere in his cultural action for freedom is that conscientisation  refers to the process in which men are not mere receipients ,but as knowing subjects achieve a deepening awareness of both of the socio cultural reality which shapes their lives ans of their capacity to transform that reality.Conscientisation mans to give conscious awareness to people on certain issues that need urgent improvement .The objective of conscientisation  is to power the knowledge  by facilitating a learning process that would develop critical consciousness .It also aims at developing a critical awareness to that individual can take action against the oppressive element.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

        To create an awareness among  the students  about the blood donation

         To create an idea about the major benefits of blood donation

  To impart knowledge about the blood donation

To familirialise the knowledge about different groups.

           IMPLEMENTATION

The conscientisation programme was conducted for higher secondary studentd of GOVT HSS MANCODE, on the topic about Awareness on blood donation. The programme was conducted on 27Nov 2019.The programme was inaugurated by our Principal  Mrs Rani P S and remaining teachers are also participated class was conducted  during after  noon session .The students  were eagerly waiting for the programme . At first I introduced the class by asking about the most common news in the newspapers .then I entered into my topic and talked about it deeply.At first I asked themto thje importance of blood donation. Now a days road accident occurred in most  number.sone of them are died to blood lost due to accidents.

Now I explain the importance and awareness among students.and showed a video relating to the o=importance of video.
